Bacolod City Chronicles

After our trip to Iloilo, we then headed to Bacolod City. While this is already my second time to set my foot on Negros Island (check out this related post on the 4 things I wish I knew before going to Dumaguete), the trip to Bacolod was my first time to visit the region of Negros Occidental.

Project 365 – Days 305-334

This set covers the entire month of November, although there aren’t too many photos during the first two weeks since I was divided between work and lots of other things. Iloilo’s Jaro Cathedral

It’s my first time to visit Iloilo, so everything I knew about it was that it has a rich collection of old houses and churches–great subjects for photos. But what I found out early on was that there was something important that guide books and the people I talked to about the place didn’t mention.

Here’s the long and short of it: the people of Iloilo are some of the nicest and the most helpful people I know.
