7 Tips on How to Take Care of Your Camera
I Switched from a Canon EF 24-105 to an EF-S 17-55
So I switched lenses after mulling it over for weeks. I’m now using an EF-S 17-55 after having traded my EF 24-105 for it.
Some of you might think that it’s a downgrade for me. Going for a red ring to an expensive yet ‘ordinary’ lens. Probably yes. How Large a Memory Should You Get?
If you shoot all day and all the time, it’s tempting to have just one memory card to dump all your photos there and forget about it. Even I was tempted to get a humongous 16GB SDHC card for my Canon 450D.

Update: I’ve since switched from using the 24-105 to an Canon EF-S 17-55 f2.8 as my main lens, plus a Tokina 12-24 f4 for taking landscape photos. I’m also using the Canon 7D as my main camera.
I’d rather let my photos do the talking, but gear talk is an inevitable part of being into photography. So let me share the stuff that I use to take photos.
Most of the time, I use my trusty Canon EOS 450D. The functions are basic, but I have yet to outgrow it. Besides, I’ve only been using it for six months or so. It’s quite tough for an entry-level camera. I’ve used it on a festival while drizzling, and while on the beach. It didn’t conk out on both occasions, but take note that I made extra measures to keep the camera dry while shooting.
