Changes are Coming Up on Gala Pinoy!
Hello folks! I’ll be introducing a few changes on this blog in the coming weeks. You see Gala Pinoy has turned into something of a fat slob that’s slow and a bit directionless, so we’re trimming it down until it once again becomes a lean and mean travel and photography blogging machine.
But if you’ve got suggestions on how to improve the site’s content leave a comment here or message me on Twitter.
Travel and the Art of Living
Waxing poetic about travel and people who just passed, you create parallelisms between travel and the art of living. Life has an itinerary, a definite beginning and end. Dates may change, but you know you have to start and end somewhere. And it’s over before you have actually enjoyed the ride. So try to enjoy every minute of it, because every time you blink, the world is a little different, and the air that you breathe right now is different from the one you breathed in seconds ago.
Throughout your life, you will enjoy fantastic vistas of the places you have been to and look forward to the ones you are just about to go to. But you can only do this if you move forward, to get out of your comfort zone and experience new things, never mind if you will get bruised and wounded along the way. And you will only enjoy it if you open your mind wide enough to capture everything that is around you.

Back from the Road

Well, technically I arrived a this weekend from the trip. The five days I’ve been in Samar were probably some of the best five days I’ve spent this year. And although I’m dying to share the stories and photos of the entire trip with you, I still have obligations with the magazine who assigned me to write the articles. I’ll work on them first, then I’ll share my personal posts with you. :)
And I’ve just a few thoughts to share with you right now:
