My project 365 sets are finally back. Had a lot of backlogs at work, so this one had to take a backseat. But enough with the excuses. What’s important is that the updates are back. I hope you enjoy them. :)

When talking to fellow travelers, one of the questions that often come up is about where your favorite destination is.
For me, the answer’s simple: anywhere I could travel.

Lust for Lime 2010 (Or How Not to Learn Rock Climbing)
I’ve been to Cebu a number of times, and so you could say that I was already done with the typical trip around the city. A planned trip down south to Carcar didn’t push through because of the weather so I was praying that the trip to the Lust for Lime event be blessed with clear skies.
A high school buddy, Ari, and I have talked about this trip at the beginning of the year. And after years of planning and balking at trying out wall climbing, I finally got my wish.
Okay, I found out early on that going straight for the rock without any training whatsoever was stupid, but we’ll get to that later.

Making the Transition from the Road to Home
It’s a great freaking day to be alive. It’s so good that I’m also ready to die when this day ends. Or maybe it’s just the coffee talking. Probably. Which is why I’ve quit putting 4 teaspoons of sugar on my coffee. Because you can get so high and then crash after a while.
But let’s while we can, and do whatever we can do. I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Of course, I’m still afraid to die. Then again, we’ll all go that way, won’t we?
