Since this week’s the Holy Week, I thought I’d feature some churches you could check out for the Visita Iglesia.
For those unfamiliar with this tradition, the Visita Iglesia is where the faithful visit churches (ideally 7 churches) during Maundy Thursday.
But for the sake of brevity, I’ll just feature 3 fairly well-known churches in Metro Manila. Today, let’s talk about the Santo Domingo Church.

After almost a week of suffering from high fevers and strep throat, I promised myself to go out more. My room started to feel like it was starting to suffocate me. Relatively fresh air (considering Manila’s polluted air) is good for the lungs. And good for taking photos as well.
This one was hell of a short week for taking photos. Finally went down with fever on Thursday (day 77) and was unable to take photos until Sunday. If you can enjoy these three pictures, please do. ;)
Light. You can bend it, you can play with it, but you can never outrun it. Light is the fastest thing known to humans. Whatever you want to call light, no matter how you look at it, I just thought it’d make for a nice set of photos for this week. I hope you like the results as much as I did making them.
